Publish or unpublish in bulk

Control product visibility across many items at once.

When to use

• Prepare for launches or seasonal availability.
• Hide discontinued or draft products quickly.

Prerequisites

• Filter to the products you want to affect.

Steps

1. Open Bulk Edit → set a product filter (see the Filters & search guide for common visibility recipes).
2. Choose field: Status / Publishing.
3. Select the desired state:
   • Publish (available)
   • Unpublish (hidden)
   • Draft (not available for sale)
4. Preview to confirm scope and sample results.
5. Run the edit and verify completion in Job History.

Rollback

Publishing actions store the previous per-channel status, so Job History → Rollback can restore products to their prior state. Check the rollback coverage table if the job is older than your plan’s rollback window or combined with unsupported CSV columns.

Tips & limits

• Publishing may be channel-specific; target the correct scope when available.
• Draft products cannot be sold until they’re set to active/published.
