Install & permissions

This app helps you update products and variants in bulk (titles, SEO, prices, tags, collections, metafields, SKU/barcode, and variant structure) with previews and detailed logs.

Install

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Shopify App Store and find “Shopify Bulk Editor”.
2. Click Add app, then follow the prompts to install.
3. Approve the requested permissions to complete installation.

Permissions requested (and why)

• Products (read/write): required to update product + variant fields (titles, SEO, prices, tags, collections, metafields, SKU/barcode, and variant add/delete/edit).

Your install screen will show the exact scopes. You can uninstall any time from Shopify admin → Apps → More actions → Uninstall.

First-time setup

After install:

1. Complete onboarding: A quick 3-step welcome tour introduces you to the app's features.
2. Select a plan: All plans include a 14-day free trial. Choose the plan that fits your needs (Starter, Standard, or Advanced) and approve the subscription. You won't be charged during the trial period.
3. Start editing: Open the app from Shopify admin → Apps and start with Your first bulk edit to try a safe, small change.

If you uninstall and reinstall later, you'll need to select a plan and approve charges again before using the app.

Uninstall and data

Uninstalling removes the app and revokes access immediately. For privacy and data retention details, see:
