Jobs (actions, queueing, and timing) ​

This app runs bulk edits as background jobs so you can keep working while changes process.

What kinds of actions can I run? ​

Common actions include:

  • Prices and compare-at prices
  • Tags and collections
  • Status/publishing
  • SKUs and barcodes
  • Metafields (namespace.key)
  • Variant options
  • Variant add/delete/edit (variant management)

The exact options depend on what you choose in New task.

Can I run multiple jobs at once? ​

Yes — you can queue multiple jobs.

  • Jobs run in the background and are processed in a controlled way so Shopify API limits are respected.
  • You can monitor progress and status from Job History.

How long do jobs usually take? ​

  • Small jobs often complete in seconds.
  • Large jobs can take longer because they run in batches and respect Shopify’s rate limits.

For best results and faster feedback, split very large edits into smaller jobs (for example, 1–2k variants at a time).

Where can I see what changed? ​

Open Job History to see recent jobs, their status, progress, and details. From there you can inspect what changed and (when supported) roll back a job.
