FAQ (draft)
Source of truth: This FAQ is derived from the merchant help FAQ at

Does this app edit variants?
- Yes. Most actions that touch price, compare-at price, SKU, barcode, and variant options operate at the variant level. You can also add, delete, and edit variants in bulk, using per-action variant filters to target only some variants on each product.
How do filters and variant selection work together?
- Use the Filter products step to decide which products are in scope for the job. For variant-aware actions, an optional Variants to edit filter then chooses which variants on each of those products are edited. Variant filters never extend the job to products that don’t match the top-level product filter.
Can I preview changes before running a job?
- Yes. Preview loads a sample of matching products and shows a before/after table for supported fields (titles, SEO, tags, vendor, product type, variant prices/SKUs/barcodes, etc.) so you can validate patterns and price math before you run the job.
Can I undo changes?
- Yes. Each job records “before” values for supported fields (titles, descriptions, handles, vendor, product type, tags, prices, compare-at prices, SEO, metafields, collections, and variant add/delete/edit). From Job history, choose a job and click the one-click Rollback button to replay those before-values. Rollback works for jobs that are still within your store’s rollback window for its current plan; very old jobs may no longer be reversible.
Can I run multiple bulk edits at once?
- You can queue multiple jobs. Jobs run in the background and are processed in a controlled way so Shopify API limits are respected. Most plans process 1 job at a time; the Advanced plan can process up to 5 jobs concurrently for higher throughput.
What filters are supported?
- Filters include product fields (title, vendor, product type, tags, status, collections, created/updated dates) plus variant attributes (price, SKU, barcode, options, position) and product metafields (
namespace.key). Metafield rules are compiled into Shopify’s product search, so they truly limit which products are edited.

Does it support CSV import/export?
- CSV import/export is coming soon and is not yet generally available. This draft FAQ is written to avoid implying CSV is available today.
What happens if I uninstall?
- Uninstalling immediately revokes access and deletes sessions and usage records for your shop. Job history and change logs are retained only for a limited time based on your plan (and a short grace period after uninstall) so you can audit recent edits and run rollbacks, then they are automatically cleaned up for privacy and storage reasons.
